Third Thursday comes alive at MadJax with the Muncie Makers Market’s Night Market

It’s almost time for the Night Market! Join us for an evening of creative community fun, local shopping, craft brews, good eats, and a vote for human-made entertainment to be experienced in person! The Muncie Makers Market and MadJax Maker Force are in partnership every Third Thursday from 5-8p to bring us all together for an insider exploration – we know you’re curious!

As MadJax puts it, “Third Thursday comes alive at MadJax with the Muncie Makers Market’s Night Market—an indoor evening of local shopping, food and drinks, community connection, and creative exploration. Every Third Thursday, MadJax Maker Force and the Muncie Makers Market partner to transform the building into an indoor Night Market experience. To shape the experience each month, the Night Market is layered with a rotating hands-on creative activity, a new exhibition opening in the Toolsong Gallery, and a live music performance. No two nights look exactly the same, but each one offers an easy, welcoming way to explore, make, and connect.”

MadJax is always open for tours during the Night Market and you can even get creative while you’re there! Got a project you’ve been meaning to work on? Or just want to make something without committing to a full class? Drop-In Creative Corner is a relaxed Thursday evening hang where makers gather to craft, tinker, and create together. Bring whatever you’re working on, ask questions if you need help, or just enjoy making alongside others. February fun at the Night Market also includes gelli printing with resident MadJax Maker Laura Peabody, live music featuring Kdøg.26: “The Year of the Fire Horse”, the opening night for MadJax’s brand new Toolsong Art Gallery with “Untied: On Process, Drift, and Letting Go” by Kevin R. Klinger, as well as the Local Growers and Makers of the Muncie Makers Market!
