Farm Scenes by Paul Laseau (1937-2025)
Last two Paul Laseau paintings remaining at Gordy. Paul was professor at Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning for more than 30 years. He held numerous workshops nationwide on design communication, freehand drawing, visual notes, and the role of digital media in design communication.
One of a handful of nationally recognized authors in the field of design communication, Laseau authored several books including, “Graphic Thinking for Architects and Designers”, “Visual Notes”, “Graphic Problem Solving”, and “Freehand Sketching”, many of which are still in use at universities today.
After retiring, Laseau became an accomplished watercolor artist, with several shows throughout the Midwest as well as self-published collections of paintings.
