If you missed Stephen Terrell’s presentation at the E.B. and Bertha C. Ball Center earlier this week, you have another opportunity to hear his fascinating stories at Carnegie Library on November 13.
Stephen will share the story of his great-uncle, John Terrell, whose life is detailed in his book. In the early 1900s, John was the wealthiest man in Wells County, Indiana, thanks to oil discovered on his farm. But when his youngest daughter, Lucy, became pregnant and was forced to marry the abusive Melvin Wolfe, John’s life and fortune began to unravel in a tumultuous spiral of murder, a dramatic trial, and madness.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
