What’s New in Town

There’s something fun about being the first to try a new place. Here are a few spots that recently opened and are worth adding to your must-visit list.

Amazing Joe’s Grill Relocates

📍 5193 N Walnut St, Muncie

A longtime local favorite, Amazing Joe’s has officially relocated in Muncie. Their new home is located at the Delaware County Regional Airport off North Walnut Street.

Dig into what our local followers voted the best food in town in 2025 as planes fly overhead. It’s a new setting that makes the experience feel a little more memorable.

The new space also means more room to spread out, easier parking, and an updated facility while still delivering the same flavors people love.

Fat Franks

📍 3101 S Madison St, Muncie

If you’ve heard the buzz about Fat Franks, it’s for good reason. This locally owned spot opened in January and is already building a loyal following.

First things first: they don’t serve hot dogs, they’re franks. And they come loaded. From a classic Chicago-style option to their signature “Fat Frank” piled high with queso and chili, plus Philly steak creations, there’s no shortage of messy (in the best way), crave-worthy choices.

Everything is made fresh to order, and one thing locals keep mentioning is that you get a lot of food for the price.

Just plan ahead, they’re closed Sundays and Mondays.

Cocoa & Cream Collective

📍 9700 W Smith St Suite 3, Yorktown

Cocoa & Cream Collective opened in March and is already turning heads and satisfying sweet tooths in Yorktown.

This bakery and café focuses on handcrafted treats, offering everything from house-made breads and sandwiches to pastries, desserts, and crafted coffee and tea.

They offer gluten-free options, like apple cider cinnamon donuts and a vanilla cookies and cream cake that people can’t stop talking about.

Behind it all is a team of trained pastry chefs, many of them local, bringing big talent to the kitchen. They’re open Thursday through Sunday, and if early reactions are any indication, you might want to get there before the crowd does.
