This holiday season, Muncie offers a way to give back to your neighbors and community with the whole family. Whether you want to volunteer your time or support community organizations through donations, there are many ways to help out others and spread the meaning of the season!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muncie Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make a difference with Muncie Mission to help provide community resources. Volunteer for Community Lunch by preparing filling, nutritious meals or donate gently used items to Attic Window Thrift Stores. Donating to Attic Window Thrift Stores helps create affordable shopping experiences. Volunteers at the Muncie Mission must be sixteen or older, so this could be the perfect opportunity for teens and school organizations. Second Harvest <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana, volunteers are the backbone of their mission. They work with volunteers and staff to directly provide aid through a variety of programs to relieve food insecurity and provide resources for a better future for individuals and families in our community. People of all ages can help by either preparing food in warehouses for distribution or volunteering to hand out food at monthly or bi-monthly tailgates.
